Desert Bloom Film Festival is back for another evening of thrills, chills and artistic expression. This year’s theme is… Curse! Bring us your hexes, your hauntings, the inheritance you can’t shake.
Desired genres include horror, mystery, thriller, fantasy or science fiction—but any quality film of sufficient strangeness will be considered.
The rocking dead walk again. Still cursed. Still loud. Reviving for the thirteenth time, this group of ghouls will get the night started with spooky covers to set the mood. We invite you to sing along, dance like the dead and shake off your earthly coils before we delve into the cinematic underworld.
Submission does not guarantee screening. A selection of submitted films will be included in competition and screened at the event.
Submitted films must be less than 15 minutes in total length, including credits. No minimum length required.
All entrants must be 18 years or older.
One entry per submission fee.
Entries must be in English or subtitled/dubbed in English.
By submitting, if accepted, you agree to grant the festival the right to use film images for promotional purposes.
If selected for screening and competition, submitted films may have their audio re-leveled to provide a seamless viewing experience for attendees.
